Mohammad Rezanezhad

Mohammad will be joining our group in Fall 2024 as a Ph.D. student. Prior to Case Western Reserve University, he obtained his B.S. (2015) and M.S. (2018) degrees from University of Zanjan in Zanjan, Iran. During his master's studies in Iran, he focused on investigating the microstructural effects on the deformation and fracture of porous materials with the aid of extended finite element method (XFEM). His current research focuses on multi-physics in fractured/fracturing multi-phase media to explore, understand, and predict the behavior of geological materials for sustainable infrastructure.
